Project Description:
King Fahad Medical City is considered the largest and most advanced medical complex in the Middle East with a total capacity of 1095 beds.This colossal medical facility built at a cost of 2.3 billion Saudi Riyals comprises of four hospitals treating annually more than 50,000 in-patients and over 600,000 out-patients.
The Main Hospital is a 459-bed hospital with specialty clinics for diagnosing and treating various diseases. Rehabilitation Hospital is a 159-bed hospital offering different levels of care, including inpatient, day rehabilitation, and outpatients’ services. A 246-bed Children’s Hospital and a 236-bed Maternity Hospital. In addition to the hospitals, King Fahad Medical City has 30 fully equipped operating rooms and contains the largest number of Intensive Care beds in the Region.
Provided Service: LEED Certification Existing Building
EcoSol was contracted to certify the whole hospital under the LEED Certification for existing buildings where EcoSol is currently implementing the requirements of green building and LEED certification, once completed, this project is expected to be the largest LEED certified existing building in the world.
